Inspire Orchestra

About Inspire Orchestra
The Inspire project gives talented students the opportunity to perform at the highest level, working with international artists from Cheltenham Music Festival under the baton of our Artistic Director, Glyn Oxley.
Most recently, students participated in Cheltenham Music Festival in July 2024.
Students meet for intensive rehearsals and have access to a range of performance opportunities in significant venues across Gloucestershire. There are opportunities to work with contemporary music and student compositions as well as standard orchestral repertoire.
Musicians must be of at least grade 8 standard as well as having excellent sight-reading skills.
Performances in recent seasons have included a lockdown recording of Beethoven's Egmont Overture; Gloucester Cathedral with Cheltenham Cathedral Youth Choir; a community opera performance at Cheltenham Music Festival and performances at the Three Choirs Festival and Water City Music Festival.
We are inviting applications to join the Inspire project for rehearsals and performances in July 2025.
The ensemble is FREE to attend.
