In 2027, we are celebrating 10 years of students coming together for our Big String and Big Blast concerts. To mark the anniversary, we are bringing both groups together for one large, collaborative project. 

Students age 5 – 18 from pre-Grade 1 Grade 8 and above are invited to join us on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February 2027. 

The course will begin as usual with sectional rehearsals at Dean Close in Cheltenham followed by a concert on the following day at GL1, Gloucester.  

We encourage you to sign your child up as soon as possible to give them an opportunity for them to work with their own tutors on the music. We will also be hosting some non-compulsory practice sessions in January. 

Applications must be submitted by 31st December at the latest. Please note that this deadline is earlier than in previous years to enable us to plan the more complex logistics.  We are sorry but we will be unable to accept late applications.
